The rumours gained momentum online after videos of Mrunal and Yashasvi exiting the café separately went viral, leading many social media users to assume they were together. However, the actress made it clear that there was no truth to the claims and criticised people for spreading misleading information.
Mrunal responds to viral speculation
Commenting on one of the viral videos, Mrunal questioned how people could draw conclusions without any evidence. She reportedly wrote that viewers should first show where she and Yashasvi were actually together before making such claims.
The actress also expressed disappointment that even educated people were believing and sharing such rumours. She urged content creators to focus on meaningful issues rather than creating gossip-driven videos for views and online engagement.
Although the comment was later removed from the post, screenshots of her response quickly circulated across social media platforms, with many users praising her for addressing the rumours directly.
The café video that sparked rumours
The speculation began when videos surfaced showing Mrunal Thakur and Yashasvi Jaiswal leaving the same café in Bandra West. Since the two appeared at the location around the same time, social media users began linking them romantically.
